I received a copy of this charming not-just-for-children tale from it’s author Sheila A. Dane. What a delightful story. The writing style is wonderful and gives the story a fanciful flavor that carries the reader along on the fairy hunting adventures of the narrator and her friends Ashley, Big Rabbit and Turtle.  On their journey they discover what really happens to that book you thought you left on the end table, those pesky missing socks and why your closet always seems to be in disarray.  We learn which fairies are more Mischievous than others and what whets their appetites.   Dazzling illustrations are peppered throughout the book giving life to those fairies that are hiding everywhere around us and who we may catch a glimpse of if we are tilting our heads and focusing just the right way.
